Through NDIS

Independently You is a proud registered provider of the NDIS. We support all plans by the NDIS.

If you are unsure on which plan you are, ask your support coordinator.

To order, you can check out as a normal customer or we take orders via phone or email.

We support self managed, plan managed, and agency (NDIA) managed plans from NDIS.

If you are unsure on which plan you are on, ask your support co-ordinator which funding scheme you fall under.

SELF MANAGED
  1. The participant places and pays for an order with Independently You directly. Orders can be placed via the Internet on this site or by phone  1800 809 847. The participant can choose products which meet their needs from both a functional and aesthetic perspective. The participant pays via Credit Card or POLi bank deposit.
  2. Independently You ships the goods to the participant
  3. The participant, using the Independently You, claims payment from NDIS.
  4. NDIS reimburses the participant directly.
PLAN MANAGED
  1. The Participant can place an order with Independently You or ask their Plan Manager, Support Co-Ordinator or care worker to place an order with Independently You. The participant can choose products which meet their needs from both a functional and aesthetic perspective.
  2. Independently You produces an invoice and provides the invoice to the Plan Manager for submission to the NDIS.
  3. After the Plan Manager receives funds from NDIS, they remit the funds to Independently You.
  4. Independently You ships the goods to the participant.
AGENCY MANAGED (NDIA)
  1. The participant places and pays for an order with Independently You directly. Orders can be placed via the Internet on this site or by phone  1800 809 847. The participant can choose products which meet their needs from both a functional and aesthetic perspective. The participant pays via Credit Card or POLi bank deposit.
  2. Independently You ships the goods to the participant

  1. The participant places and pays for an order with Independently You directly. Orders can be placed via the Internet on this site or by phone  1800 809 847. The participant pays via Credit Card or POLi bank deposit.
  2. Independently You ships the goods to the participant
  3. The participant then claims payment from NDIS.
  4. NDIS reimburses the participant directly.
  1. The Participant can place an order with Independently You or ask their Plan Manager, Support Co-Ordinator or care worker to place an order with Independently You.
  2. Independently You produces an invoice and provides the invoice to the Plan Manager for submission to the NDIS.
  3. After the Plan Manager receives funds from NDIS, they remit the funds to Independently You.

  1. The participant, or their support coordinator, places an order with Independently You on the website or by phone 1800 809 847. Independently You needs to ensure that the products pass the reasonable and necessary requirement.
  2. Independently You, using the NDIS Provider Portal, generates a service request for the Participant for the items requested. If there is a consumables portion (and sufficient funds available) to the participant’s plan the portal automatically approves the Service Request. Independently You can claim payment for the service booking through the portal.
  3. Independently You ships the goods to the participant
