Our Recliner Protector ensures your recliner remains free of stains and odours. It provides comfortable, waterproof protection against accidents and spills. Wide, high-quality elastic straps will hold it in place. Our recliner protector will fit most recliners.
The soft, comfortable faux suede top layer is lovely to sit on. The absorbent inner absorbs fluids and the waterproof backing provides a great barrier to protect your recliner.
Pad size is 120 cm x 60 cm
Top: 100% polyester microfibre
Filling: 100% polyester
Back: Polyester-backed polyurethane (PUL)
Cold or warm machine wash. Line dry or warm tumble. Do not iron or dry clean. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.

Let’s face it, recliner chairs are very comfortable, but also expensive. Diane was visiting friends at a Retirement Village when she noticed the amount of recliners people had, and how the seat can start to get a bit grubby. So, she deigned a soft, comfortable waterproof protector that had wide elastic straps to fit securely on a recliner chair.

Brolly Sheets is still a family business, established in 2006. Founder Diane’s mother is in her eighties and her in-laws are in their 90’s and she is always looking to design products to make their lives a little easier.

The product itself is good, the protector pad appears to be equivalent to the bed pads which are excellent, however the elastic straps which go over the recliner chair back are only suitable for large wide chairs and are too long for a smaller chair such as the 'Artiss AS17-PU-GY' chair which I had purchased to suit a constrained space. I had to use multiple safety pins to shorten all three straps until they were of a length which enabled the vertical part of the protector to be held firmly to the seat back. Some sort of buckle or slide on each strap which enables their lengths to be adjusted would be a convenient modification to the item.
When the pad requires washing, it will be a pain to have to remove all the safety pins before putting the item in the washing machine and then reinstalling the protector again having to use the pins to make it fit the chair.

It has the usual quality fabric to protect the chair. However, the elastic supporting the chair cover is not strong enough to hold the cover perfectly in place, so it needs regular adjustment.
