Snazzi Pants Day Trainers were designed for toilet training, but they're equally useful for children and young people who benefit from the independence and dignity of underwear-style continence wear. The pull-up design means kids can manage them independently or with minimal support — and because they look exactly like regular undies, in prints and colours kids choose, they don't draw attention.
The soft cotton outer (95% cotton, 5% elastane) is gentle against skin and comfortable for extended wear. The 100% cotton inner and soft waterproof panel absorb around 120 ml — more than most comparable products. They're not a full continence solution, but for children working toward independence or managing lighter accidents during the day, they're a practical, dignified option.
Three sizes cover hip measurements from 52–55 cm, roughly ages 1–4 years. Cold or warm machine wash, line dry or tumble dry on low. Made in India in a factory with fair employment standards — fairly paid staff, safe conditions, no child labour.
NDIS note: Snazzi Pants Day Trainers may be claimable under Core Supports – Consumables for eligible participants. Confirm with your plan manager or support coordinator before purchasing.

Because toilet training works better when kids can feel the difference. Snazzi Pants are made from cotton with a soft waterproof panel — they look and feel like real undies, which encourages independence, but give you a little protection when accidents happen. They absorb around 120 ml, contain small accidents, and wash easily. Made in India in a factory with fair employment standards. Part of the Brolly Sheets family, in business since 2015.
If it isn't cotton, it isn't comfortable. Cotton is a natural fibre — breathable, soft, and gentle against a toddler's skin. Most cheap training pants use polyester, which is essentially plastic: it traps heat, causes sweating, and doesn't feel good to wear all day. Cotton also lets kids feel the sensation of wetness, which is actually the point — that feedback is what helps the brain make the connection and start to learn control.
They absorb around 120 ml — more than most competitors. That's enough to contain a small accident and protect floors and furniture, but not so much that your child can't feel the wetness. They're designed for toilet training, not as a nappy replacement. For overnight use, see our Snazzi Pants Night Trainers.
Cold or warm machine wash with like colours, inside out. Line dry or tumble dry on a low heat — too much heat will damage the waterproof layer. No bleach, no fabric softener, no ironing, no dry-cleaning. Wash before first use to activate the absorbency. Having two or three pairs on rotation makes wash-day easier.
Three sizes: 1–2 years (52–53 cm hips), 2–3 years (53–54 cm hips), and 3–4 years (54–55 cm hips). Age is a rough guide only — measure your child's hips for the best fit. Kids come in all shapes, and a correct fit means better containment and comfort.
No. They absorb around 120 ml and are designed to contain small accidents during toilet training — not to replace a nappy. If your child is still having regular full accidents, they may not be quite ready for trainers yet. Use them as the step between nappies and regular undies — when your child is showing readiness cues and just needs a little backup while they're learning.
With proper care, they hold up well. We offer a 12-month warranty from date of purchase. Line drying rather than tumble drying significantly extends the life of the waterproof layer. Many customers have used the same pairs across multiple children.
Yes. The waterproof backing is made from polyester-backed polyurethane (PUL) — not PVC or vinyl, which can emit harmful toxins. Brolly Sheets are third-party tested and Green Leaf certified as environmentally sustainable and non-toxic.
Diane, founder of Brolly Sheets, designed the original Snazzi Pants after noticing how many disposable pull-ups were ending up in landfill. She wanted a reusable, washable alternative made from cotton — so kids could actually feel wetness and start to make the connection, rather than staying dry inside a disposable. She brought the Snazzi Pants brand into the Brolly Sheets family in 2014 and extended the range.
Snazzi Pants is an iconic Kiwi name with history — one of New Zealand's first cloth nappy brands, established in 2003. Brolly Sheets brought the brand into the family in 2014 and expanded it from cloth nappies into washable waterproof training pants and beyond.
Diane first started selling to local Sydney markets in 2006 and she hasn't looked back. Now with a full suite of waterproof products — from bedding to undies, bibs and bandanas for kids and adults — we have you protected.
No. Training pants like Snazzi Pants absorb around 120 ml — enough to contain a small accident — but they are not designed to replace a nappy. They're intended for children who are showing toilet readiness cues and just need a little backup while they're learning. If your child is still having regular full accidents, nappies or night trainers are more appropriate.
Most children show readiness cues between 18 months and 3 years, though every child is different. Signs include staying dry for longer periods, showing awareness of going to the toilet, and wanting to wear undies. Age is a guide — readiness matters more than a birthday. Snazzi Pants come in sizes from 1–2 years to 3–4 years to cover the full training window.
Yes — both financially and practically. A set of reusable training pants like Snazzi Pants costs a fraction of months of disposable pull-ups, washes easily, and lasts well enough to use across multiple children. They're also better for toilet training because cotton lets kids feel wetness, which is the sensory feedback that helps the brain build control. Disposable pull-ups are designed to keep kids dry, which works against the training process.
Most parents find three to five pairs covers a typical training day with one or two accidents. Having enough pairs to run a wash cycle without running out is the practical benchmark. The Snazzi Pants multi-deal options are designed with this in mind.
Day trainers are designed for light daytime accidents — Snazzi Pants Day Trainers absorb around 120 ml. Night trainers are designed for heavier overnight wetting and absorb significantly more. Using a day trainer overnight will not provide enough protection. Brolly Sheets sells both — see Snazzi Pants Night Trainers for overnight use.
